- Business Development Manager required to raise the profile of a West Midlands based social housing contractor. They form part of a very large Construction group who are active in the retail, FM, build and civils sectors.
Working alongside the Production Director and Bid Manager, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and influencing decision makers associated to ensure the company secures a place on the tender list. Position involves visiting clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Project Managers.
Also involved in compilation of responses to pre qualification questionnaires and organizing PR events including attendance at a number of dinners representing the company.
This is a growing division for the company and will possibly include pursuing opportunities outside the West Midlands area.

- Technical Bid Writer required for a West Midlands based social housing contractor. They form part of a very large Construction group who are active in the retail, build and civils sectors.l
Working alongside the Business Development and Bid Manager, you will liaise with the preconstruction teams to ensure that the proposals written reflect the strategic objectives of the bid and service delivery. You will have experience of writing and winning a variety of tenders mainly for social housing, maintenance and FM projects.
Duties:
Write ITT Quality and PQQ submissions.
Write client and bid focused market leading responses based on high level proposals developed with the Bid Manager.
Write clearly and concisely.
Communicate and liaise with Operations Managers, BDMs and other Group senior managers to ensure that the proposals are reflective of the business and individual client's needs and aspirations.
To meet the Bid Plan and assigned responsibilities as set out by the Bid Manager.
Proof read documents.
Produce case studies and method statements as needed.
Manage the communication between the client and company throughout the bid process.
Print, produce and bind the documents.
To administer the Bid Pipeline process when needed.

An opportunity has arisen within the project team for an experienced individual with Design, Bid and Operational skills to lead the conversion process and coordinate a design and project team in single and two stage D&B projects.
You will have ownership of the client relationship and requirements from inception to final acceptance, proactively managing the concept design, design development, and detail design, while balancing time, cost, quality and delivering the Client’s vision. You will also proactively manage the development of the project cost plan, coordinating cost planning resources, client requires and program constraints.
This is a very senior role and you will be working alongside other professional experts within planning, estimating, design and commercial.

The salary for this role will range up to £80,000 and include a car allowance of £6400, family BUPA cover and 25 days holiday.
