They are seeking a Senior Estimator with experience of producing estimates on schemes valued from £5m to £35m within the sectors of Roads, Bridges, Land Remediation, Waterways and Ground Engineering. Duties Would Include the following: To provide accurate cost estimates and supporting technical information to enable the Company to submit competitive tenders. Promote the companies Infrastructure Division, its image, interest, reputation and standing within the business community. Prepare enquiry schedules and liaise with the Buying Department in the selection of appropriate companies from whom quotations should be sought. Produce Bills of Quantities from plans and specifications. Identify and analyse risks and produce risk register. Attend tender settlement meetings ensuring all relevant cost information is available for presentation and complete the tender as instructed. Produce Contractor’s Proposals Documentation. Maintain regular contact with departments to obtain feedback on costs, technical and commercial performance. Applicants should be IT literate with a working knowledge of CCS Candy pricing software.   • PSR are recruiting for a leading services provider within the Gas, water, electricity and telecommunications sectors. Their business is centered on provision, replacement, repair, and maintenance of utility network infrastructure which our clients (the UK and Ireland's utility companies) own and utilise to deliver water, electricity, gas and telecommunications to you. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to be based out of their Head Office in Warwickshire where you will be part of a successful team working on tenders throughout the Utilities industry. You will report directly to the head of Estimating and will be responsible for individual projects and framework agreements throughout the UK. Duties will include, preparing accurate clearly defined tenders with a security of achieving or exceeding tendered profit levels. Maintaining a comprehensive and up to date knowledge base of cost indices, and to ensure that systems and procedures are continuously reviewed and improved. Building long term industry relationships and ensure that the department provides a professional responsive point of client contact. Depending on experience you will be paid a basic salary up to £50,000 plus an attractive package. Our client is keen to employ experienced and reliable management staff and for the right candidate the chance of progression is obtainable.
