- work alongside the Business Development Team assisting in seeking new ‘framework’ and tender opportunities, whilst ensuring the profile of the company receives maximum positive exposure.
Duties will include providing marketing, business development and administrative support to the LHO Business Development Manager and Operations Director.
Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:
·Provide professional and flexible support to the LHO Business Development
Manager and Operations Director
·Ensure all suitable opportunities are known about by the business, sourcing through OJEU, Glenigans and market intel
·Manage, organise and sometimes attend, LHO events, including exhibitions, conferences, ceremonies, dinners, corporate entertainment- sourcing venues, inviting guests, producing marketing material
·Undertake market research relevant to the business
·CRM system: add and manage all events, update contacts and new opportunities
·Update all schedules, including workload and events
About the Person
You will have intermediate to advanced experience with MSWord and MSExcel.
A good understanding of marketing tools used for brand promotion is essential, along with the ability to produce high quality documentation to tight deadlines.
Along with excellent written and verbal communication skills you will also have the ability to work on your own initiative as part of a team or alone as required.
The ideal candidate will have a background in construction preferably from a Main Contractor with a clear understanding of OJEU’s, PQQ’s and Tendering process.

- Bid Manager required by one of the industry’s leading family owned contractors in the UK today.
This is a brand new position within the existing bid team which will see the creation of a new preconstruction team to cover West Midlands new build and refurbishment, East Midlands, South West and South Wales.
The core skills needed for this role are knowledge of opportunity and risk management including value creation. Previous ownership and management of a design, planning and estimating team. The ability to present bids for sign off to the main board, deal with any settlements which arise and ultimately win work for the business.
The desired individual will ultimately be responsible for a £60m business unit. Projects are a mixture of PFI extra care homes, new build social housing up to and over 200 units and decent home framework contracts.
As this is for a social housing contractor, only candidates with a social housing background will be considered. Also, experience of PFI projects would be advantage. If you can demonstrate preconstruction and experience of the core skills mentioned above then this could be a very good opportunity for the right person.
