Health & Safety Manager - Midlands
Our Client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee construction activities on a number of sites across the midlands. The role is autonomous, providing advice to senior management, site teams, support staff and sub-contractors on all Health & Safety issues.
Duties Include:
Developing strategy on minimising risk
Development and management of current H&S systems
Communicating with all levels of staff
Ensuring competency of staff via training, auditing and inspection
Action against any non compliance
Develop & communicate "Best Practice"
Cease operations where major risk is foreseen
Liaison with H&S Executives were necessary
Experience & Qualification Required
- NEBOSH
- Experience of managing H&S for a contractor
- Member of IOSH or APS or other H&S institution or body
