Estimator with bid management experience required for a market leader within both the UK Construction and Affordable Housing Markets.
The Group has been providing affordable homes for more than 30 years and include mixed tenure, development of community facilities such as hostels and temporary housing and student housing.
Their portfolio of Clients range from NHS Trusts to RSLs to Private development companies all for whom have been able to complete highly successful schemes.
Duties:
• Liaison with design, planning, production and commercial functions
• Preparation of a true net build cost
• Cost planning
• Pre-contract input of supply chain
• Management of RIMS database
• Value management to improve bids
• Commercial risk management
• Pre-contract / post contract lessons learned.
There are some bid management skills required for this role:
• Management and development of the pre-contract team
• Liaison operational production and commercial functions
• Production of tender settlement packs, and presentation at board level
• Post tender client negotiations and presentations
