Bid Manager - Highly Competitive Salary £70,000 - £78,000
Our client is seeking a Bid Manager, a dynamic leader from either an operational, design, estimating or commercial background.
Sectors of work include: Healthcare, Education, Government, Leisure, Commercial and Retail. Project Values would range from £10m to £100m (Frameworks, BSF and PFI values would be larger).
Responsibilities would include: management of the bid process from receipt of tender documents to hand over to the construction team. Lead the tender team at Bidders Conferences, mid-term and post tender interviews. Responsible for developing a strategy for winning each bid, production of the bid programme, manage and control all bid documentation and manage all negotiations leading to the contract signing.
The key attributes needed in an individual is the ability to lead and focus of a bid and bringing all disciplines together in, what may be at times exceptional conditions.
The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate: A proven track record of managing bid processes from start to finish within our key construction sectors : A combination of technical construction knowledge and the ability to present, liaise and negotiate with existing and prospective clients.
