- Commercial Manager – Shropshire
Our Client is seeking a commercial manager to work on a major water sector framework contract. They are seeking a candidate who is an experienced leader and can manage a programme of works with a good range of civils experience/
Duties would include: Working closely with other senior members of the Management Team to deliver a programme of works, close liaison with clients, establishing and maintaining a financial forecasting regime; reporting on the financial and contractual performance of individual projects and the performance of the Framework as a whole including the management an development of the subcontract supply chain within the Framework
In addition, you will manage, lead, develop and motivate a team which includes Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors and ensure there is effective communication with customers and colleagues regarding any commercial and supply chain issues.
Applicants should have a strong track record in Commercial Management with experience of dealing with a programme of multiple contracts worth collectively in the region of £50 million per annum and have a solid civils back ground.

An opportunity has arisen within the project team for an experienced individual with Design, Bid and Operational skills to lead the conversion process and coordinate a design and project team in single and two stage D&B projects.
You will have ownership of the client relationship and requirements from inception to final acceptance, proactively managing the concept design, design development, and detail design, while balancing time, cost, quality and delivering the Client’s vision. You will also proactively manage the development of the project cost plan, coordinating cost planning resources, client requires and program constraints.
This is a very senior role and you will be working alongside other professional experts within planning, estimating, design and commercial.

- We have an immediate need for experienced Planners to assist the education team in the West Midlands on large value new build and refurbishment schools / academies.
We require graduate calibre individuals with at least 5 years experience as a project planner. You will have worked on major UK PFI construction projects and are seeking the opportunity to take responsibility for multiple projects.
A strong understanding of design, procurement and construction processes & techniques is essential. Knowledge of Primavera Project Planner 6 is preferred but they will also consider candidates who are proficient in the use of a wide range of computerised planning and costing tools.
You will be responsible to the Project Manager and have detailed knowledge of the Contract Obligations with specific regard to:

• Construction
• Cost/income
• Quality
• Health, Safety & Environment
• Business processes and general administration
The salary for this role will range up to £60,000 and include a car allowance of £4,000 to £6,000. Single BUPA cover and 25 days holiday.
