Job Title: Contracts Manager - New Build Residential Sector
Location: Midlands, UK
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join a dynamic team within the new build residential sector. As the Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple residential projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all contract-related activities for new build residential projects.
• Ensure projects are completed in compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Develop and manage project time-lines, budgets, and resources.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring the best terms are achieved.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
• Oversee the procurement process and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained and readily available for audits.
• Lead and mentor a team of site managers and contractors.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in contract management within the residential construction industry, specifically in new builds.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• A proactive problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field (desirable).
• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card (desirable).
