Job description

My client is looking to appoint an Administrator to work from offices in Erdington. The company is a busy construction business who are looking to expand their commercial team.

You will be responsible for raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and site and sales staff.

They are looking for a self-motivated individual who is confident in communicating on the phone and via email to ensure tasks are followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing of materials and plant purchase orders
  • Managing weekly reports
  • Liaising with Site Managers
  • Liaising with Supply Chain
  • Assisting with invoice queries
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Placing of purchase orders for sales

Required Skills

  • Good organisational and communication skills essential
  • IT proficient, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated able to work on your own initiative
  • Knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing materials essential
