Job description

PSR Solutions are currently looking for a Project Manager/ Agent to work on Gatwick Airport, this role will be to work on a framework of civil works on Gatwick airport. PM/Agent for management of all civil engineering works associated with the construction of a new aircraft hangar for Boeing to accommodate 777 jets at Gatwick airport 10M Civils Works.

Main Activities:
  • Managing tenders
  • Manging the project
  • Has strong knowledge of managing sub-contractors
  • Previous experience working for a main contractor
  • Airport experience is beneficial (not necessary)

Working to plan works, liaise with Site Managers to ensure the design intent is accurately communicated, resources are allocated efficiently and works are completed to the highest possible standards. Works such all civil associated types of engineering works associated with an aircraft hangar. Works include all groundworks, soil stabilisation, piling, drainage, road construction and high quality concrete works. The candidate should have well all round civil engineering experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of project delivery and completion.

Must have the following experience:
  • Degree or HND Qualification in relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience working on Major civil projects
  • Groundworks, soil stabilisation, piling, drainage, road construction and high quality concrete works
  • Solid Technical know-how
  • Able to write up Method Statements / Risk Assessments
  • Commercially aware
  • Good Reporting Skills
  • CAD Knowledge
  • Good Communication Skills
  • ASTA Power Project
  • First Aid would be an advantage
