PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and resourceful engineer by nature, civil engineering experience in a rail project environment. Technical ability and practical skills.

Team player, a good communicator and eager to learn from others' wider experience. Solid record of health, safety and environmental focus when working on projects, and is commitment to his personal and professional development.

Responsible for assisting senior staff or working individually on quoting, organising and managing projects through to completion. Involved with client, supplier and sub-contractor communications. Preparing quotations for projects and ordering materials.

- Preparing CAD drawings for projects.

- Identify options and recommend solutions to resolve technical issues.

- Briefing CAD technicians and checking drawings.

- Providing comment on design calculations and drawings.

- Attending project site selection studies.

- Assisting in the preparation of design reports.

- Designing station fittings.

- Assist with engineering designs and liaise on technical approvals

  • Experience of civil/structural design management and execution.
  • Ability to produce technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of budgeting and the financial monitoring of projects.
  • Competent in the use of survey equipment.
  • Knowledge of railway infrastructure and workings.

  • Ability to understand and present others' points of view.


  • Skilled at analyzing and interpreting information.


  • Good communication skills when dealing with clients, developers, consultants, elected representatives and the public.


  • Having clarity and sound judgement.


  • Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office Suite programs.


  • Working knowledge of a variety of CAD software suites.


  • Having a natural drive with a loyal, strong, and proactive work ethic.


  • Creative and innovative, with good design skills.


  • A team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
