Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven BIM Manager to join our client, a FTSE 250 listed UK business. Enjoying group revenue's of circa £2.8 Billion and having approximately 5,500 employees, there involvement in some of the UK's most high profile and innovative projects makes them the premier company to work for.

You will play a major role and lead the promotion, development and delivery of BIM implementation across Infrastructure and on allocated projects. You will report to the Engineering Director and will provide a range of first class strategic services for the Infrastructure division.
You will preferably be degree qualified and have a background in the construction/infrastructure sector, and should have:
  • Good experience of Building Information Modelling
  • Strong management capability
  • Flexible attitude to work
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop and work within a high performing team


Your general responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Manage the BIM process in terms of development and implementation, taking into account the company BIM processes and protocols
  • Actively contribute to the development and improvement of BIM processes and protocols
  • Actively liaise with other BIM leads in the GT business and represent business unit on BIM related matters
  • Actively explore and pursue connections between BIM and the on-site activities, enhancing the awareness of its capabilities and encouraging interaction and use
  • Stay informed on innovations and best practices
  • Share knowledge and experiences amongst Infrastructure business units through briefings/demonstrations, training workshops and schedules of lessons learnt
