I am currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Manager on an exciting development to join a Tier 1 contractor from November 2024.
Responsibilities
- Management of the materials and logistics on site
- Management of waste
- Management of deliveries
- Responsible for the appearance of site
- Planning/programming site set up plans to move labour, plant and materials around site efficiently for each phase of the construction project
- Keep the site secure and safe for workers and visitors
- Creating policies and procedures
- Attending site meetings and keep records of meetings and staff training
- Ensuring the site works safely, creating a site-specific safety manual and emergency plans, and ensuring first aid cover and equipment is present
- Management of the supply chain
Requirements
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor
- Ability to build relationships and engage and influence individuals at all levels
- The intellectual capacity to deal with complex logistics issues along with analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Proven experience working as a fast paced Logistics Manager
- Black CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
The role will involve 10-12 hour days so this is something you must be able to commit to.
