Painter & Decorator Required - Sheffield
Social Housing Void Property Scheme

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Painters & Decorators to join an ongoing void property programme in Sheffield. The role involves internal redecoration works on empty social housing units as part of a wider property turnaround team.

Key Details:

• Location: Sheffield

• Project Type: Social housing - void properties

• Duration: Ongoing work

• Start Time: Immediate start available

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30

• Rate of Pay: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Payment Type: CIS

Responsibilities:

• Internal painting and decorating of vacant domestic properties

• Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming

• Applying finishes including emulsion and gloss to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces

• Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe working area at all times

• Working in coordination with other trades and supervisors

Essential Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card

• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport

• Strong experience in painting & decorating, ideally in social housing or similar environments

• Ability to work independently to high standards and within project deadlines

• Own tools and PPE
