PSR are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Quality Manager.
The business has a strong reputation delivering quality projects up to £150m within key sectors of the built environment.
Salary circa £70,000 plus package.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for all construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve construction materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards.
- Support the operational team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective quality control.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
- Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and work with the team to implement best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in construction quality management.
Experience of the Contracts Manager:
- Must have a strong understanding of industry standards (ISO 90001)
- Preferably hold ISO qualifications
- Preferably a degree in Construction Management or related field
- Must have an in depth knowledge of Construction processes, materials and quality standards.
- Preferably holding certification in Quality Management.
