About the Company
Our client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, large-scale construction projects across the UK. Known for their technical expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support a portfolio of major multi-room projects across the West Midlands valued up to £100 million.

The Role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful technical delivery of complex, multi-discipline projects. You will provide engineering leadership on site, ensuring all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering activities on large multi-room schemes

• Oversee setting-out, site surveys, design coordination and QA processes

• Manage and monitor subcontractor works to ensure compliance with specifications and programme

• Provide technical support to Site Management and Project Leadership teams

• Produce accurate site documentation, reports, and QA records

• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

About You

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer with a main contractor

• Strong technical knowledge across RC frame, structural, civils, or build elements

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

• Experience in multi-room, residential, student accommodation, or hotel schemes advantageous

• CSCS essential; SMSTS/First Aid desirable
