We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to cover a steel frame shed project for 2 weeks. This job is an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Take charge of the entire construction process, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Steel Frame Expertise: Oversee the installation of the steel frame structure, including foundation work, steel erection, and cladding.
- Health and Safety: Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship to ensure top-notch quality throughout the project.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Implement effective supply chain strategies and manage deliveries.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate the site team, including subcontractors and skilled tradespeople.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Manager, specifically with industrial steel frame projects.
- Certifications: Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certifications are essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with steel frame construction techniques and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges proactively and find practical solutions.
