📢 Job Opportunity: Freelance SSSTS Foreman - Southampton

Are you a skilled tradesperson ready to take your first step into site management? We're looking for a motivated and hands-on SSSTS Foreman to join our team on a freelance basis in Southampton.

🔨 About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong trade background who's recently gained their SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification and is eager to move into a supervisory role. You'll be working on a variety of construction projects, supporting site operations, and ensuring health & safety standards are met.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and coordinate trades on site
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Support the Site Manager with progress reporting and quality control
• Act as a point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain site records and documentation

🧰 Requirements:

• Valid SSSTS certificate
• Proven experience in a construction trade (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, groundworks)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• CSCS card and own PPE
• Right to work in the UK
