Key Experience

This is an exciting role for an Engineer looking to take the next step in their management career.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or similar relevant qualifications or experience
  • Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to work with the management team to identify alternative, innovative or bespoke solutions
  • Commercial understanding of the preconstruction process, assisting the estimating and design team with the production of tenders
  • Comfortable in a client facing role and presenting at a senior management level
  • Previous industry experience in either RC Frames, post-tensioning, remedial work or heavy lifting

The Role

Reporting into the Director, you will be provided with one to one industry training and mentorship for the role.

This is an exciting role for an Engineer looking to take the next step in their management career and a key role for our client. You will be responsible for managing an established client base and the identification of new opportunities within those clients and the industry.

Key aspects of the role will include:

Bringing in work enquiries through client & site meetings, seminars and the development of industry contacts and knowledge. Investigating and evaluating new technologies and methods that can add value to the business and their clients.

Ensuring that all enquiries are registered, liaising with the Technical or Design Manager in the production of proposals and designs for submissions, and reviewing tenders with the General Manager prior to submission.

You will be responsible for representing the company at pre-tender and post tender meetings, producing technical papers and presentations for seminars, and attending relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
