Job description

Purpose of the Role:

To work closely within the pre-construction team, supported by the Technical Bid Manager to ensure tenders and live projects logistical constraints are considered and illustrated successfully from concept to completion. Manage all internal and external bid communications efficiently and effectively. Responsible for illustrating the construction process in an illustrative form. Updating plans as the projects progress. (EXAMPLES TO BE SHOWN AT INTERVIEW) Software knowledge essential (construction knowledge to be progressed through training plan bespoke to the successful applicant's experience to date)

Key Tasks:

Transform basic graphical ideas like pictures, written texts or images into realistic dimensional graphics that are easy to understand and are attractive and eye-appealing.
  • Produce visual solutions to communicate construction logistics proposals/ highlighted project constraints
  • Analyse site conditions and finding the most appropriate means of delivering a message
  • Construct Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings and 3D visuals for presentation Participate in technical research and presentation of proposals to clients or managers
  • Ability to comprehend and design Architectural Details (not essential)
  • Rendering skills


Requirements
  • Must Possess excellent design creativity, flair and positive attitude with a first-class eye for design details.
  • Pro-active approach.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to conflicting deadlines on multiple bids.
  • Ability to work individually, and as part of a team.
  • Qualification/ Degree in Design or equivalent in related field.
  • Graphic design is an advantage.
  • Ability to comprehend and design Architectural Details.
  • Proficient in 3D visuals, AutoCAD and Photoshop in reviewing 2D and 3D designs.
