Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £46,000 per Annum
Permanent - Full-time - Days

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (NMC) looking to take the next step in their leadership journey within a high-quality care home environment.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and compliance with CQC standards. In the absence of the Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home, leading and guiding the care team to maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and mentoring care staff to uphold high standards of care.
• Supporting pre-admission assessments and resident onboarding.
• Maintaining up-to-date care plans and documentation.
• Promoting effective communication with residents, families, and external professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead / Senior Nurse within a care home setting.
• Active NMC registration - essential. RGN / RMN / RNLD
• A strong understanding of CQC requirements and safeguarding procedures.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a care team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering person-centred care and engaging residents in their care planning.
