A well-respected and CQC compliant nursing home in Burton-on Trent, that provides general elderly nursing and dementia care packages is looking to recruit an RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to join their team on days.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a complex setting with challenging behaviour.

Details of this Staff Nurse position:

• A permanent contract with full time hours available
• Day shifts
• Great pay rates from £20.00 - £23.00 per hour
• Paid breaks and handover

Your duties as a Staff Nurse:

• Adhering to the NMC code of professional conduct to ensure high standards of practice.
• Providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients, maintaining meticulous records, and administering medication safely.
• Creating personalised care plans and conducting thorough risk assessments to address each resident's holistic needs effectively.
• Responding promptly to residents' urgent needs while prioritizing and delivering timely care.
• Upholding the dignity and respect of service users while empowering them to make choices about their care.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Taking charge of and supervising a team of care workers while leading by example.
• Adhering to local policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of care.

The skills, experience and qualifications required for this Staff Nurse post:

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration, Adult Nursing (RGN) or Mental Health Nursing (RMN)
• Demonstrates post-registration experience and a strong working knowledge of current clinical best practices
• Prior experience working in a complex setting with challenging behaviour is essential
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care
• Proficient in developing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments
