Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000, with an offer of a car package and mileage expenses

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team in Worcestershire. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a skilled professional with extensive experience in the new build bespoke housing sector, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the cost management of new build bespoke housing projects from inception to completion.

• Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates.

• Conduct accurate measurement and take-offs from drawings and specifications.

• Liaise with the project team, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Assess and manage risk, ensuring that projects meet financial targets.

• Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements.

• Prepare tender documents and manage procurement processes.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project life cycle.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5 years in a senior role, ideally within the Residential sector.

• Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• A strong understanding of construction processes, project delivery, and industry standards.

• Experience with measurement and costing software.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent professional qualifications).

• A full UK driving license is essential, as the role involves travel to various sites.
