Supply Chain Manager
MUST have experience working within the construction industry on planned maintenance schemes.
Main Duties
- Lead a team of buyers and materials controllers
- Daily management across the team supporting workload demand
- Supplier selection proposals and approval to include fact finding, audits, negotiation etc.
- To support expediting delivery if necessary
- To generate supplier confidentiality and service level agreements where required, necessary filing onto company server
- Managing the Supply Chain team to continually improve the processes and controls in place
- Managing the Supply Chain team to deliver against business and functional KPI's
- Responsible for movement of materials, goods and products (including Import & export)
- Developing and utilise material traceability in the plant co-ordinating support functions to deliver and maintain the system
- Daily reports complete by purchasing team
- Effective management of procurement projects
- Introduce and set up good quality suppliers with all relevant agreements in place
