The Company

Our client is a leading provider of services and plant within the UK railway industry. Working with a number of the leading names and clients within the industry, they have built an enviable reputation of supplying safe, secure and reliable services to this expanding market.

The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day commercial administration of the contracts. This will include preparing internal and external reports, and representing the company at client meetings.

To manage, report on and optimise, cost, opportunities and contract performance. Ensuring that all due revenue is correctly billed and collected in a timely manner.

Raising applications for payment and invoices as required, and manage the aged debt process.

Additionally you will have the opportunity to assist with new business tenders, PQQs, and RFQs.

The Person

As the ideal candidate you will have the following qualifications and be able to demonstrate the following experience:
  • A commercial or business administration related qualification
  • Knowledge of contract procedures and administration, and an understanding of contract reporting methodology.
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to constantly improve systems, processes and reporting standards.
  • Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Good organisational ability, with proven communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced excel
