Assistant/Quantity Surveyor - Cardiff
PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assistant/Quantity Surveyor; this will be an office-based role in Cardiff.
This opportunity is working for a leading contractor who operate primarily within the commercial, industrial & education sectors.
Job role: Assistant/Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Duration: Permanent
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Assistant/Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Concept design, cost estimation, and pricing.
- Negotiating and presenting contracts (for both clients and subcontractors), as well as preparing tender documents.
- Reviewing building contracts and analysing contract terms.
- Measuring quantities and forecasting project cash flow.
- Gathering and evaluating client requirements, including after-sales service and customer relationship management.
- Conducting market analysis (e.g., identifying potential clients, projects, and competitors) and assisting in the development of business, product, and country strategies.
Assistant/Quantity Surveyor Qualifications & Experience:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of building construction management, estimating or quantity surveying.
- Good industry knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.
