Rate: £300 - £450 per day

They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civils and Groundworks Project Manager to join their team and lead the execution of various construction projects.
Job Description: The Civils and Groundworks Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned construction projects, from initiation through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and support staff, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage project finances, including budget allocation, cost tracking, and invoicing, to ensure profitability and financial accountability.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements, approvals, and permits.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to management and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement on project sites, promoting adherence to health and safety protocols and best practices.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or groundworks construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving project objectives and delivering results.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
