Role Overview
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and securing projects within the residential groundworks sector. You'll work closely with our commercial and operational teams to prepare accurate cost estimates, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential groundworks projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identify risks and opportunities within project scopes.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and support the commercial team during tender negotiations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of residential groundwork processes and materials.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
