Our client is a leading Geotechnical engineering specialist, primarily involved in the Core Drilling, Structural Repairs and Stabilisation within the railway sector.
They have an immediate requirement for a Quantity Surveyor with experience delivering Network Rail minor works framework contracts, able to price works and with NEC 4 contract administration experience.
As the ideal candidate and key member of the team, you will be from a subcontractor background, with experience pricing and delivering various structural repair and brickwork packages on NWR assets, including bridges & structures, NWR station buildings and platforms, lineside and embankment works.

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:
- Full NEC 4 commercial administration of contracts through to Final Accounts.
- Pricing works from First Principles.
- Reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
- Monitoring and reporting on budgets and costs against programme and producing CVR's.
- Agreeing monthly payment valuations.
- Agreeing instructions, change and processing variations.
- Take-off's and Remeasurement
- Attending client and project progress meetings.
Quantity Surveyor requirements:
- Degree or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
- 5+ years experience working on Network Rail and Infrastructure projects, delivering minor civils and structural repair projects.
- Experience managing NEC 4 contracts essential.
- Experienced in self-delivery of projects from subcontract pricing through to final accounts.
- Well organised, diligent, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Full UK driving license.
