Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Leeds - Freelance

We are looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of build project in Leeds. This role will focus on managing commercial aspects of traditional construction works including groundworks, structure, envelope, and finishes.

Key Responsibilities :

Procuring remaining construction packages and coordinating with site teams to ensure seamless integration of works
Day-to-day commercial management of assigned subcontractor packages across the build programme
Assessing monthly subcontractor applications for payment, issuing payment and pay less notices, and managing the payment process
Working closely with subcontractors to resolve queries and commercial issues as they arise
Managing, valuing, and agreeing variations in a timely and accurate manner
Attending regular project and subcontractor meetings to support cost control and project delivery
Reporting on subcontract liabilities and preparing accurate cost-to-complete forecasts for CVRs
