Are client is a well-established regional developer, looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dorset. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the cost of construction projects across the region, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost plans, estimates, and cash flow forecasts
- Manage subcontractors, including negotiation of contracts and resolving disputes
- Monitor project progress and report to senior management
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant degree or professional qualification
