An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Building Services Design Manager working from home on a major projects accross the region. You will be joining a leading international company who have a high profile presence and are proud of their innovative project wins across the MOD / MOJ sectors. It is imperative to go through security clearance and thus must hold a full British passport

This Mechanical Design Manager will be part of a strategic team with full involvement from pre-construction, design to delivery.

This Building Services Design Manager must have experience of working on large projects managing the M&E design and its integration within the Build process.

Within your career you would have had exposure to relevant CAD and Design software

Mechanical Building Services Design Manager responsibilities:

• Technical evaluation of tender documents (specifications, drawings, ERs, etc.) identifying technical risk and anomalies and creating an action plan to resolve
• Design completion strategy and management of the information
• Participate in regular design meetings and chair specific MEP meetings and workshops
• Coordinate services including requirements for quotations and approvals, complete documentation and track progress.
• Compliance review
• Providing technical support to site management team

You will be managing very closely the design and tender/bid team to create strategies and innovative ideas to enhance project delivery. It is crucial that the person in post has a wealth of HVAC design experience and can identify, monitor and deal with design related issues.
