PSR are looking for a Document Controller/Site Administrator on a new build construction project for a main contractor in Birmingham.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
On site
- Control document flow, ensuring that all revision controlled documents are administered and distributed promptly
- Audit/monitor revision controlled documents and distribute to relevant project team and design team
- Send drawings out for copy as requested, ensuring all project team is working from latest copy of drawings, ensure site drawing rack is up to date.
- Instructions - raise requests from the internal team and supply chain, chase close out and responses with relevant parties
- Design Approvals - managing the data flow within the client, professional & internal team
- Set-up and maintain project start up filing system in line with company procedure
- Includes electronic and paper based files.
- Scan and save on a daily / weekly / monthly basis - induction, waste tickets, permits etc
- Project Report to be collated and distributes in conjunction with project manager
- Assist with Quality Audit process
We are looking for the following experience/skills:
- Experienced in using project management / construction data management platforms
- Experienced understanding of how information management fits into the construction process
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook
- Highly organised with the ability to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise
- Able to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- 4 years document control / site admin experience
- "Can do" attitude
