Job Opportunity: Regional Executive Head Teacher

Salary: £57,500 per annum + £6k bonus and an additional £5k for each additional site
Location: Woking, Surrey

PSR Solutions are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with one of the UK's premier providers of therapeutic education in our quest to find an exceptional Regional Executive Head Teacher. If you have a fervent ambition to lead and inspire, combined with a solid background in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) education, then you might be the perfect fit to guide our school to new heights.

Our esteemed client is dedicated to delivering top-notch, therapeutic, and child-focused education to pupils aged 11 to 17 years old in Woking. These remarkable young individuals come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many also have additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. It's a role that's as varied as it is challenging, but rest assured, all staff are equipped with extensive therapeutic training and unwavering support.

The purpose of this pivotal role includes:

  • Providing leadership and management to schools within the designated region.
  • Contributing proactively to the superb leadership team of the schools.
  • Modelling a consistently high-aspiration approach, ensuring 'Highest Expectations for All'.
  • Embodying the vision and ethos of the Schools and the wider organisation.
  • Holding responsibility for the performance of schools within the designated region.
  • Managing resources to secure the best outcomes for our pupils.
  • Promoting and securing engagement and involvement with staff, parents, and the community.
  • Delivering transparent and accurate reporting to the Director of Education.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in school development and improvement
  • Leadership in pastoral/pupil and staff personal development
  • Successful partnership working with other schools and/or academies, external agencies, and stakeholders
  • Proven experience with children presenting SEMH and complex trauma
  • Experience in consistently meeting Independent school standards and understanding the associated requirements
