Electrical Improver - Wrexham - £19.50 per hour - 6-Month Contract (ASAP Start)

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Electrical Improver to join a commercial/industrial project based in Wrexham. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and the potential to see work through until at least Christmas 2025.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Electrical Improver

• Location: Wrexham (exact site details provided upon application)

• Rate: £19.50 per hour

• Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with installation of high-level containment systems

• Supporting with wiring and terminating distribution boards

• Assisting in the installation and testing of fire alarm systems

• 1st and 2nd fix electrical work as directed by site supervisors

• Adhering to site safety procedures and industry regulations

• Maintaining productivity in a time-sensitive, high-standard environment

Requirements:

• Valid JIB card

• IPAF certification

• Full set of tools and appropriate PPE

• Previous experience working on commercial or industrial sites

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and within a team

• Understanding of site safety, electrical standards, and containment systems

You will be working on a live pharmaceutical warehouse site, which demands strict compliance with site rules, attention to detail, and professional conduct. You will need to maintain a high standard of work, meet strict deadlines, and adapt quickly to site requirements.
