Day Rate: £325 - £400 per day

PSR Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Site Engineer on a Freelance basis.

The contractor has several schemes across Yorkshire, working in a variety of sectors including health care, education, commercial and industrial. Typical project values completed by the contractor range from £30m - £120m.

As Site Engineer, you would report into a Site Manager and Contracts Manager.

Role and duties:

• Quality Assurance
• ITP's (inspection & test plan)
• Setting out
• Supervision of trades/ delivery teams
• Planning work packs and method statement/risk assessments for all work involved
• Chairing meetings, managing sub-contractors.
• Chairing stakeholder reviews. Mentoring team and ensuring training is kept up to date
• Attending planning and workshop
• Driving programme at a site level.
• Quantifying material and ordering through the procurement system
• Keeping accurate QA records or site progress.
• Reporting to weekly progress to Construction Manager and planning team.
• Working with the commercial team to build the scheme within budget

Experience/Qualifications:

• CSCS Card
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• HNC/HND or Equivalent
• On site experience as an Engineer including setting out and QA responsibilities
• Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages
• Use of AutoCAD
