Electrical Estimatior

Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator with a passion for delivering high-quality residential projects? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team and play a key role in shaping residential projects including student accommodation, residential apartment developments, hotels and private dwellings.

About the Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately pricing electrical packages for residential construction projects, with a particular focus on student accommodation and multi-unit residential buildings. You'll work closely with our pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure competitive, compliant, and profitable tenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems on residential projects

• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify project requirements

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing

• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure continuity from tender to project delivery

• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in residential construction

• Strong background in student accommodation and residential apartment developments

• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and pricing

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Effective communication and organisational skills
