£65,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Package

M&E Pre-Construction Manager from an electrical estimating background required to work for a high profile National client from the West Midlands. The role will be office based and you will be representing solely the building services element of the build pre-construction phases. Thus it is imperative that you come from an Electrical Estimating background at a senior level. With solid exposure to working on large-scale tenders.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-qualification proposals, scopes of work and interviews
• Take full control of Electrical tenders
• Review design
• Vetting the M&E supply chain and control of sub-contractor pricing
• Value engineering
• Oversee and build relationships with MEP subcontractros relevent to the tender process
• Work close with Mechanical Preconstruction Manager and multiple teams

You will require a clear understanding of technical issues and work closely with Design Managers and it is desirable that you have an understanding of BREEAM requirements as well as a complete understanding of British Standards

This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front and work in a driven team to achieve results. Ideally you will have worked on projects major projects/tenders across the industrial and commercial sectors.

This role will suit a senior electrical estimator / manager Or an already pre-construction building services manager who has worked for a main contractor and has pre-construction experience.
