Facilities Maintenance Manager

Head Office - Birmingham

PSR are delighted to be working alongside one of the leading Building Service Instillation company's in the construction industry specialising in Mechanical and Electrical works in high end residential schemes. During an exciting time of my clients business they are expanding further by adding a facilities maintenance arm to the business. The new department will be responsible for maintaining their own installations with current clients.

They now need a strong Facilities Manager to join their hardworking and friendly team that can manage the setup and development.

The candidate we are looking for must have goods understanding of the requirements to fully maintain large residential buildings, for a healthy bank of clients. This is a secure position with a highly-regarded business, offering real earnings and career potential. The role will require a certain sales edge as you will be developing leads with current clients that require maintenance services as well as focusing on the development of new business.

We are looking for the candidate to have good understanding of hard FM services including planned and reactive maintenance to the mechanical, electrical, heating and ventilation systems. Ideally you will have experience of sales and/or management of hard FM services, be this HVAC, security, fire for example with a good understanding of the installation types listed below.

  • Heating water quality maintenance
  • BMS controls maintenance

Knowledge and understanding of working with SFG20 is desirable.

With 90% of work being in London, travelling to meet with customers will be a large part of the roll and occasional overnight stays will be essential as the roll within the company matures.

Full UK driving license is required.

This is a full time permanent role and is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate with a real opportunity to progress within the Company.

Hours of work are:

08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday

08.30 - 16.00 Fridays

25 days' annual leave plus the statuary holidays.
