PSR Solutions are recruiting for a Freelance Aftercare Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: Competitive

Working on behalf of one of the UK's leading build contractors we are looking for a Freelance Aftercare / Defects Manager in Manchester.

This individual is required to provide exceptional customer care service to customers and clients of the business while managing reported defects from handover for at least an 18 month period. Someone with experience managing all trades on large multi-room projects valued up to £100m will prove beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logging and allocation of reported defects on web-based software
  • Progress chase defects with staff and the supply chain
  • Identify trends and common issues
  • Confirm defects are correctly reported and filter out damage, vandalism and mis-use
  • Develop a working relationship with key clients holding while holding regular update meetings
  • Being able to use all communication techniques with clients, sub-contractors, and internal management team.
  • Handle complaints with sensitivity and empathy
  • Make decisions about progressing difficult issues and identify when internal escalation is necessary

This position requires a confident individual with a reputation for integrity, maturity and sound judgement. An evident level of general construction knowledge and the ability to communicate across all levels is essential.

Remuneration

Our client is providing exceptional pay rates dependant on the specified requirements due to experience on an ongoing contract basis.
