Job description

PSR Solutions are currently looking for a freelance project manager to work on Gatwick Airport, this role will be to work on a framework of civil works on Gatwick airport.

Main Activities:
  • Involved in the pre-tender stage
  • Managing tenders
  • Manging the project
  • Has strong knowledge of managing sub-contractors
  • Previous experience working for a main contractor
  • Airport experience is beneficial (not necessary)


Working with/under Contracts Directors to plan works, identify and implement design improvements and define the project scope. Liaise with Site Managers to ensure the design intent is accurately communicated, resources are allocated efficiently and works are completed to the highest possible standards. Works such as car park, lift shafts, structures, this project manager would needs a good understanding of this type of work.



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of project delivery and completion.

Must have the following experience:-
  • Degree or HND Qualification in relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience working on Major civil projects
  • RC Frames - steel structure (car parks)
  • Reinforced Concrete, Drainage, pilling
  • Solid Technical know-how
  • Able to write up Method Statements / Risk Assessments
  • Commercially aware
  • Good Reporting Skills
  • CAD Knowledge
  • Good Communication Skills
  • ASTA Power Project
  • CSCS / SMSTS
  • First Aid would be an advantage
