PSR Solutions are working with a leading Highways & infrastructure contractor to recruit Freelance Project Manager to manage a 6 month project in Northumberland.
The successful PM will be assigned to a project early in December 2019 for 6 months. The Position is site-based, with regular client visits required in with sub-contractors, the client and other stakeholders. A works-vehicle can provided as part of the package if required.
Key Duties:
- Ensure that all project activity is are carried out safely
- Reviewing methods of working, alternative plant and equipment, alternative materials
- Produce accurate and timely monthly progress reports for Client meetings.
- Raise EWN's
- Raise TQ's
- Ensure all works are carried out to the contract specification
- Manage and report on the performance to Contract Manager and QS
- Organise resources (labour, plant, materials, sub-contractors)
- Liaise with clients and maintain good business relationships
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (Preferred, not essential)
- CITB SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- Proven experience of civil engineering Project Managing
- proven civils experience including drainage, earthworks, fencing, kerbing etc
- Time served on highways and roads projects
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of NEC Form of Contract
- Good understanding of collaboration
