Health and Safety Advisor

My client works in sectors including Commercial & Retail, Industrial, Education, Restoration, Leisure, Healthcare, Civic and Residential.

Applicants should have a background within Building and Construction and hold an excellent understanding of construction health & safety legislation. Experience of Education and Healthcare would be an advantage.

Reporting to the Head of Safety the successful candidate would have responsibility of supporting project delivery team on multiple projects, you will ensure that the company's health, safety, quality and environmental system is managed and implemented effectively. For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to progress to a Health and Safety Manager.

Skills required:

• NEBOSH Construction / IOSH
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
• Good IT Skills
• Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001
• Ability to write reports
• Strong Organisational Skills
• Ability to positively promote best practice
