Role: Registered Nurse - Clinical Teaching Lead

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £43,540 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, Full time/ part time/ job share and term time only contracts negotiable

Job Summary: Lead Nurse

PSR Solutions are excited to partner with a specialist college near Harrogate in North Yorkshire, to assist in recruiting for their healthcare team. We are currently seeking highly motivated and dynamic Lead Nurses with extensive nursing knowledge and experience to lead our clinical team. The goal is to deliver high-quality, research-based clinical training and education packages that meet the diverse care needs of our students and to develop quality health care plans and risk assessments for students with a range of clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement clinical training and education programs based on the latest research.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe practice.
  • Provide specialist training and supervision to ensure the adoption of current best practices.
  • Plan and organise care for young adults aged 16-25 with a range of learning disabilities, including day students, residential students, and those requiring respite care.
  • This role requires flexible working with a requirement to work a minimum of 1 late shift per week and 1 weekend per half term.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered Nurse with a broad range of clinical experience and an active NMC PIN
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs.
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Experience of working with a similar client group would be advantageous
