My client is a medium secure facility that offers acute and intensive care to adults suffering from mental illness, and we are on the lookout for an experienced RMN to deliver high-quality, safe nursing care.

The successful applicant will become an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, advocating for the best interests of patients and carers while ensuring excellent standards of nursing care.

Your responsibilities will include supervising a defined group of team members, contributing to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), mandatory training, and appraisal processes. You'll also be monitoring and reviewing nursing care plans, evaluating and responding to changes in patient conditions, and developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement.

As you progress, you'll take on more senior responsibilities, such as leading shifts and mentoring student nurses and other team members. Adherence to codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, as well as promoting ethical practice, is paramount. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
