We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to provide short-term cover on a busy housing development site in Scarborough. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable and professional who is available for immediate work and has previous experience operating telehandlers in a residential construction setting.
Position Details:
Job Title: Telehandler Operator
Location: Scarborough
Rate: £20 per hour
Duration: 2 weeks' cover
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard site hours
Key Responsibilities:
Safe operation of the telehandler around a live housing site
Moving materials to various areas of the site as directed
Assisting trades and site management with lifting and transport tasks
Daily checks and basic maintenance of the machine
Adhering to all site safety protocols and health & safety requirements
Requirements:
Valid CPCS or CSCS/NPORS Telehandler ticket
Previous experience on residential construction or housing developments
Full PPE
Good communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
Punctual, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
