Maintenance Service Manager
Staffordshire
£50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Maintenance Service Manager required to work for a reputable and well-established client who seek a manager to lead their small works department running and developing a multi-trades, mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance division across commercial buildings. Projects will be national and thus you must be happy to travel.
We seek an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to support, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, staff, and the in-house maintenance team
It is imperative that you have managed a maintenance division and that you are from a mechanical bias.
You will ideally be Gas Safe certified and from a HVAC background.
You will have experience working within the education, residential, commercial offices, and social housing sectors with a good knowledge of mechanical heating and ventilation services, boiler plant, distribution systems, warm air systems, air conditioning and ventilation plant as well as electrical services
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, staff, and our in-house maintenance team
- Oversee the engagement of sub-contractors from initial tendering through to ensuring the team are raising the work orders with the correct information
- Ensure good customers focus within all areas of operational activities
- Ensure contractual commitments are met and legislation is adhered to.
- Organise and maintain contract and engineer schedules for planned and reactive maintenance requests.
- Act as the point of contact for the client for all facilities management services issues, including plant rooms and landlord communal areas.
You must be technical as well as a flare and vision to monopolise on existing installation business to service contracts
