Bid Coordinator

Marketing / Business Development

£25,000 - 30,000

With over 100 years in the construction / building services sector my client is a known success story within the engineering construction industry. They seek a Bid Coordinator to join their expanding and successful business in Birmingham. Through hard work and providing a valuable quality service my client prides its majority business as repeat.

Hence a new and exciting opportunity has arisen as a Bid Coordinator / Business Development Assistant to help support the bid and fee proposals for new work, the role also includes involvement with business development and marketing activities.

This is a dual role and the person will be an integral part to administrative and organisational supporting the Management team in coordinating and delivering a range of activities: -
  • managing CVs,
  • organising databases,
  • tracking and responding to bid opportunities,
  • rationalising and improving existing promotional material
  • Be able to be able to produce of high quality documents in PowerPoint and Word


The role would also interface with the Marketing and Bid Teams drawing on their experience and material available as well as producing documents to standard formats allowing sharing with the wider group.

Ideally you will have experience across the below
  • Filling out PQQs, Selection Questionnaires, Supplier Questionnaires et
  • Reading and understanding briefing documents from both public and private organisations Coordinating responses to ITTs, RFIs, RFQs etc ensuring submissions are made in ample time
  • Formatting bid / tender / proposal documents paying meticulous attention to detail
  • Awareness of public procurement processes and researching new opportunities via e-tendering portals
  • Experience reading and interpreting OJEU notices and making expressions of interest
  • Maintaining a database of bid information, updating as required
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office packages daily: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
