Job description

My client has been trading for the last 25 years specialising in the installation and manufacture of specialist envelope products. They have constructed over 250 projects across Europe including France, Denmark and London.

The Office Manager will be required work out of their new Central London office based a short walk from Liverpool Street and/or Moorgate Station.

Reporting into UK Director and other Senior Managers, duties and responsibilities would include:

Providing administrative support to the Director

Organising internal meetings and conference room booking

Acting as main point of contact for all general office enquiries

Planning staff events, weekly, monthly and annually

Managing stationery and general office supply levels

Ensuring IT (hardware and software) is up to date and correctly functioning

Ability to resolve minor IT issues

Liaising with IT professionals and support desks at various software packages

Budgetary management of office expenditure i.e. stationery, training and maintenance of offices

Managing document control systems and generating weekly reports

Given that my client are a European based construction company, even though their English language skills are very strong, they require the Office Manager to have exceptional grasp of the English language when communication outside the business.
