Your Role

Key role in the development of detailed construction programmes and methodology. They be required to provide planning support to a number ongoing of 'live' projects but as experience is gained this will develop into the provision of a planning service during the tendering stage.

Responsibilities include;
  • To demonstrate a thorough knowledge of project requirements and site constraints
  • To develop detailed construction programmes, considering experience from similar schemes and information provided by the supply chain.
  • To develop pre-construction programmes linked to the construction programme and considering design and procurement.
  • The production of high quality logistic and sequencing diagrams produced in liaison with the project team
  • The production of clear and concise statements describing the programme strategy and construction methodology.
  • The development of plant and scaffold requirements and schedules.
  • To continually visit and monitor current projects to provide planning support and ensure accurate progress reporting.
  • To obtain feedback information for use on future projects, for example actual progress achieved versus planned programme.




Your Experience
  • This role will require somebody with strong site planning experience gained on major projects with a recognised UK contractor.
  • The candidate must be able to develop realistic programmes and methodology and will be able to assist site teams and prepare independent progress reports.
  • The successful candidate will require an understanding of building contracts, including Design and Build and knowledge of difference forms of construction, ie; concrete frames.
